Solemn Pontifical Mass in Washington DC on Saturday

Posted by Stuart Chessman

There will be a Solemn Pontifical Mass (extraordinary form) for the 5th Anniversary of the Inauguration of Pope Benedict XVI at 1 PM this Saturday, April 24th, at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC celebrated by Darius Cardinal Castrillon. For more information about the Mass, clink on this link: WDTPRS.

UPDATE: We understand that the Cardinal will NOT be celebrating this mass, and that the organizers of the visit are attempting to find another bishop to celebrate this mass. The news media and professional “advocates” for abuse victims had been preparing a warm reception for Cardinal Castrillon, and the Archdiocese and the Shrine management had denied any involvement in the event….
