Deacon Steve Markantonis to be Ordained

Deacon Steve Markantonis will be ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of New York on Saturday, May 15th, at 9 AM by Archbishop Timothy Dolan at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Since his ordination to the diaconate, Deacon Markantonis has assisted as Deacon at several Solemn Masses (1962 Missal) at the Church of the Holy Innocents: Christmas Midnight Mass and the Feast of St. Patrick.

His First Mass according to the 1962 Missal will be a Solemn Mass on Sunday, May 23rd at 3 PM at the Church of the Assumption, Peekskill. For those interested in going by train, Metro North Trains leave Grand Central Terminal on Sunday May 23rd at 12:45 PM and 1:45 PM and arrive at Peekskill at 1:48 PM and 2:48 PM respectively.
