Mass at St. Gabriel’s, Stamford CT

Posted by admin

St. Gabriel’s parish (Father Cyprian P. La Pastina, Pastor)has been valiantly trying to celebrate the only traditional Mass in Stamford Connecticut at 12:30 on Sundays. We would have hoped for a better response – but based on experience it takes a long time for the congregation to develop around the traditional liturgy. Moreover, an afternoon schedule is never popular. The liturgy is a low mass – this particular Sunday without the benefit of servers – in a very “Reform of the Reform” architectural setting. We hope to have a further report from St. Gabriel’s soon.
