Some of our readers may have noticed the following report on the recent celebrations of the Traditional liturgy at Dunwoodie (the seminary for the Archdiocese of New York). Seminarians have been regular participants at our masses and training sessions at Our Saviour’s Church in New York since September 2007. We would like to think our society has played a small part in the revival of the traditional rite at Dunwoodie.

I believe the Mass was offered by Msgr. Kevin O’Brien. Before he was seminary spiritual director he had been pastor of Immaculate Conception on 14th Street. While seminary rector he was somehow connected to St. Anne’s and on a few occasions offered the TLM there. Now he is a pastor in the Bronx.
