Traditional Masses for Holy Week and Easter

The following churches are offering liturgies according to the Extraordinary Form:

Connecticut

St. Mary Church, Norwalk:
Palm Sunday, 9:30 am, outdoor procession
Wednesday in Holy Week, 7 pm
Easter Sunday, 9:30 am

Sacred Hear Church, New Haven:
Palm Sunday: Sunday, April 5th. High Mass at 2pm, to be celebrated by Fr. Robert Boyd (St. Mary, Norwalk). The full Schola Cantorum of the Society will sing Orlando di Lasso’s “Missa Je suis déshéritée”; motets by Victoria (“Pueri Hebraeorum”),Palestrina (“Nos autem gloriari”), and Lasso (“Tristis est anima mea’)
Good Friday, 11 am.
Easter Sunday: High Mass at 2pm, to be celebrated by Fr. Robert Boyd (St. Mary, Norwalk). The full Schola Cantorum of the Society will sing Palestrina’s “Missa Regina caeli”, motets by Verdelot and Gascogne, and all of the proper Gregorian chants.

St. Lawrence Church, Shelton, Wednesday in Holy Week, 8 am

St. Bridget of Kildare Church, Moodus
Easter Sunday, Missa Cantata, 10:30
Easter Monday, 7:30 am

New York

St. Agnes Church, 143 E.43rd St NYC Easter Sunday at 11:00 AM.
There will also be a Tenebrae on Spy Wednesday Evening at 6:00 PM. It has been traditional in the past, although abbreviated.

Holy Innocents, W. 37th St between Broadway and 7th Ave will have Tenebrae Wednesday Evening at 6:15 as well. The Mass at 5:15 that day will be the Traditional Mass as is now the norm for Wednesday.

Church of Our Saviour E 38th St and Park Ave.
Palm Sunday, 9 am
Easter Sunday, 9 am

Immaculate Conception Church, Sleepy Hollow
Palm Sunday, Sung Mass with Blessing of Palms and solemn chanting of the Passion of Our Lord, 3 pm.
Easter Sunday, Sung Mass, 3 pm.

New Jersey

Our Lady of Fatima Chapel, 32 West Franklin Avenue,Pequannock, NJ 07440
Palm Sunday: Procession at 10:20 am. Masses at 9:00 and 11:00
Holy Thursday Evening Mass: 6:00 pm followed by the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament till midnight.
Good Friday Liturgy: 3:00 pm. Stations of the Cross at Noon.
Easter Vigil: at 11:00 pm.
Easter Sunday Masses: 7:00 am, 9:00 am & 11:00 am.

Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302, (201) 795-0120
Good Friday: Liturgy at 3:00 pm
Easter: Solemn High Mass at 10:00 am – Missa in Hon. Sancti Josephi by Flor Peeters, motets by Wolfe and Pergolesi, propers from the Liber Usualis
