Altar Service Training Program for Latin Mass to Begin in Manhattan

Beginning this Wednesday, December 2nd, Fr. Michael Barone will lead a monthly program for those who serve (or wish to learn to serve) the Traditional Latin Mass in the church hall (basement)of Holy Innocents Church, 128 W. 37th Street, NY, NY. The program will begin immediately after the 6 PM Low Mass. It is being sponsored by the NYC Surplice & Cassock Ministries and the Confraternity of the Sacred Heart.
Monthly Discussion Topics (approx 20-30 min each):
Part 1 – The Mass (parts, history, roles, meaning, prayers)
Part 2 – Reflections on Virtue and the Ministry of Serving
The dates for the program: in 2009: 12/2; in 2010: 1/13, 2/3, 3/3, 4/7, 5/5.

The program is open to anyone who serves or is inclined to serve Mass.
