Easter Sunday at St. Mary’s Norwalk

The new sanctuary at St. Mary’s disposed for the celebration of the Traditional solemn Mass.

Our coverage of 2010 Holy Week at St Mary’s Norwalk ends with Solemn Mass on Easter Sunday morning, celebrated in this parish’s newly restored sanctuary. It was a triumphal week regarding both the beauty of the services (the music, the vestments, the choreography) and the immense response from the parish. Great thanks are owed above all to the pastor, Fr. Greg Markey. We look forward to the further development of the Traditional rite at St. Mary’s and the continued restoration of the church.

The new statuary – from a destroyed church in the Bronx – now stands unveiled.
