Between September 1-3, the “Liturgy Convention of the Archdiocese of Colombo” convened in Sri Lanka at the invitation of Archbishop Malcolm Ranjith. An amazing group of speakers took part – Cardinal Canizares, Martin Mosebach, Fr. Uwe Michael Lang, among others. At this site you can find many pictures as well as texts of all the presentations. (Not all are online yet). Obviously Archbishop Ranjith is continuing his energetic support for true liturgical renewal, and it is no surprise that he was reported yesterday to be on the “confirmed” list to be created Cardinal at the next consistory.
