It was a beautiful Mass. Thanks to Bishop Perry and all who made it happen. The priest to Bishop Perry’s right, in the picture Mass_93221, was particularly good, I thought, proclaiming the Gospel. I have been impressed by his preaching on other occasions at the Church of the Holy Innocents — we are all blessed to have such dedicated servants of God.
That was Fr. Barone, a most dynamic and young priest(perhaps 30, 31) of the Archdiocese of Newark. An avid proponent and celebrant of Holy Mass in The Extraordinary Form, he conducted several educational sessions on the theology underlying the rubrics of TLM for altar servers at Holy Innocents.
