There was a good turn out for this lovely Mass in a form that seemed at once familiar and yet a bit different. The chant was sensitively sung; but again with melodic elements were just a bit different from the Liber Usualis. Fr. James Dominic Brent is a compelling preacher who spoke movingly about the necessity for gratitute to God for the restoration of historical liturgical forms, althought he didn’t make mention of St. Thomas Acquinus on his feast day.
