Words fail me.
I knew it will be bad when I saw the sketch. But I truly did not expect this. It exceeds my worst fears.
This is a good example of the rottenness of our Western culture, when even the keepers of beautiful liturgy can’t see a difference between high art and lowly Raphaelish kitsch.

Michelangelo is long dead. Your’e not going to get paintings like his anymore. Porter is a fine artist for this day and age.
