Masses for the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary

Window in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York. I wonder how long that’s going to remain there?

If the Feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary is forever associated with the battle of Vienna in 1683, that of the Most Holy Rosary commemorates the battle of Lepanto, fought on October 7, 1571. How relevant to 2014! And how contradictory to the current pacifist teachings of Rome (which recently had to be adjusted – if unclearly – for ISIS).
