Traditional Mass in Carmel, NY, in Honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

In Honor of the Opening of the 11th
Annual Parish Feast of St. James the
Apostle (July 15th – July 18th, 2015) and
in honor of our parish co-patron, Our
Lady of Mount Carmel,
A Solemn High Votive Mass of Our
Lady of Mount Carmel shall be
offered according to the 1962 Roman
Missal (the Extraordinary Form of the
Roman Rite) on Wednesday, July 15th at
7:30 PM at THE CHURCH OF SAINT JAMES THE
APOSTLE, 14 GLENEIDA AVENUE,
CARMEL, NEW YORK

The Rev. Fr. Matthew MacDonald, Parochial Vicar of the
Church of Saint James the Apostle, Carmel, New York, shall be
the Main Celebrant and Homilist.

The Music for the mass shall be sung by the Choir of the
Church of St. Agnes in Manhattan under the direction of Mr.
James Wetzel.

A Catechesis on the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite (1962 Roman
Missal) shall be offered in the Main Church of St. James by Fr. MacDonald
from 6:30-7:15pm, prior to the start of the mass.
Food, Rides, and Games shall be available on the parish grounds outside the
church from 6PM until 11PM each night of the feast.
