The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Tuesday. August 15. This feast is a holy day of obligation. The following churches will have traditional Masses.

Church of Saint Anthony, 1496 Commonwealth Avenue, Bronx, 8:00 pm, High Mass

Immaculate Conception Church, Sleepy Hollow, NY,  low Mass, 7 pm

Assumption Church, Tuckahoe, NY, August 14, 7:30 pm, Solemn Mass for vigil, followed by a festa on the piazza.

St. Matthew’s Church, Dix Hills, NY (Long Island, right at exit 51 on the LIE), 10:30am. A picnic and homeschool curriculum swap will follow at nearby Wolf Hill park, sponsored by our Catholic homeschool group. All homeschool families welcome to join us (weather permitting).
