Traditional Masses for All Souls Day

St. Mary Church, Norwalk, CT,  8:00 am low Mass, 5:30 pm high Mass.

Sts. Cyril and Methodius, Bridgeport, CT, low Mass at 7:45 am, Missa Cantata at 6 pm.

St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport, CT,  7:30 pm, featuring Victoria’s Missa Pro Defunctis a 4.

St. Mary’s Church, Baltic, CT, 7 pm, Solemn Mass, includes Faure’s Requiem Mass setting.

St. Stanislaus Church, New Haven, CT, low Mass 8 am.

Holy Innocents Church, New York, NY, low Masses at 8 am and 5:15 pm, Solemn Requiem Mass, 6 pm

Our Lady of Mount Carmel,  New York, NY, Low Mass, 7:45 am; 7:30 pm Requiem Mass (please note that the all night vigil is cancelled.

St. Anthony Church, 1496 Commonwealth Ave., Bronx, 6 pm

St. Josaphat Church, Bayside, Queens, NY, Missa Cantata, low Mass at 5:30 pm and 6 pm; confessions (6:45 pm-7:20pm), Missa Cantata at  7:30 pm.

St. Paul the Apostle, Yonkers, NY 10:30 am, Sung Requiem Mass

Immaculate Conception, Sleepy Hollow, NY, low requiem Mass, 7 pm.

St. Agnes Cathedral, Rockville Center, NY, 6 pm, Holy Cross Chapel located in the convent building adjacent to the cathedral.

St. Anthony of Padua, Jersey City,  Requiem Mass, 8 pm

St. Anthony of Padua, West Orange, NJ, Requiem Mass, 7 pm.

St. John the Baptist Church, Allentown, NJ,  Solemn Requiem Mass, 7 pm, featuring the Faure Requiem.  Reception follows in the church hall.

 

Other Requiem Masses in November:

St. Mary’s Church in Greenwich, CT will offer a Solemn Requiem Mass on Tuesday, November 6th at 7:30 pm, featuring Victoria’s Requiem for 4 Voices.

Holy Name Church, Brooklyn, NY, Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 pm, traditional Requiem Mass.

St. Vincent Ferrer Church, New York, NY, Tuesday, November 13, 7 pm,  Solemn Requiem Mass in the Dominican Rite.  The Schola Cantorum of St. Vincent Ferrer will perform the Requiem in C by Johann Michael Haydn (1737-1806)  under the direction of James Wetzel.

Votive Low Mass in honor of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Saturday, November 3 at 10:30, St. Josaphat Church, Bayside, Queens, (for the holiness of all elected officials on November 6th.)
