Feast of St. Vincent Pallotti at Our Lady of Mount Carmel

On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, the Church Universal celebrates the Feast of Saint Vincent Pallotti (1795-1850), Founder of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, the Pallottine Fathers who have served the Pontifical Shrine and Parish Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in New York since it’s founding in 1884.

We also celebrate the 19th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood of our Associate Pastor, The Reverend Father Christopher Salvatori S.A.C. On Saturday, January 22, 2000, Father Salvatori was ordained a Priest of Jesus Christ for the Society of the Catholic Apostolate in this very Shrine.

A special Solemn Mass in Latin (1962 MR-EF) will be offered at 7:30 P.M. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. and Confessions will be heard before Mass. Following Mass, the First Class Relic of St. Vincent Pallotti will be offered for veneration.
