Tuesday, March 19 is the the Feast of St. Joseph. The following churches will offer the traditional Mass.
St. Mary Church, Norwalk, CT, 8 am
St. Pius X, Fairfield, CT, 7 pm. Bring your bread and all religious articles to be blessed after Mass.
Sts. Cyril and Methodius Oratory, Bridgeport, CT, low Mass, 7:45 am; Solemn Mass 6 pm.
St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport, CT, low Mass, 7 am.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, New York, Missa Cantata, 7:30 PM – followed by the blessing of St. Joseph’s table. We invite you to bring food to be donated to the poor, refreshments to be shared and any Statues, icons and images of St. Joseph you would like to be blessed. Food may be left in the Sacristy during Church hours and or the Rectory during office hours.
Holy Innocents Church, New York, Missa Cantata, 6 pm. St. Joseph’s Table after Mass in the parish hall.
Also at Holy Innocents: A triduum of prayers in honor of St . Joseph in preparation for his feast will be held as follows: Saturday, March 16 following the 1:00 pm Mass; Sunday, March 17 during Benediction following Vespers at 2:30 p.m.; and Monday, March 18 following the 6:00 pm Mass.
St. Patrick’s Stone Church, 188 Church Place, Yorktown Heights, NY, Solemn Mass, 7 pm. Confession available 6-7 pm, Mass will be preceded by a brief reflection by Fr. John Wilson, “How to pary with the Traditional Mass.” Refreshments to follow.
St. Paul the Apostle, Yonkers, NY, Missa Cantata, 12 noon.
Our Lady of Mt Carmel, 259 Oliver St. Newark, NJ, Solemn Mass, 7 pm. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Ambrosio, celebrant. Choral music of Refice, Faure and Liszt (Refice Mass in Honor of St Joseph, Faure’s Cantique de Jean Racine, Liszt Domine Salvum Fac Regem). Ample and secure parking. After mass there will be a traditional St Joseph’s Table with meatless food and traditional Sicilian and Neapolitan St Joseph’s Zeopples. All are welcome, no tickets are required but do call the rectory so that there is enough food 973-589-2090.
