In a letter dated September 4th, 2019, Archbishop Leonard Blair of Hartford has announced that the Institute of Christ King Sovereign Priest will administer St. Patrick Church, 50 Charles St., Waterbury, CT beginning on October 27, 2019.

In 2017 St. Patrick parish had been combined with St. Joseph parish to form a new parish, St. Blaise. In his letter, the Archbishop states that St. Patrick and St. Joseph will once again become separate parishes. All Masses at St. Patrick’s will be celebrated according to the Extraordinary Form, except for the 4 pm vigil Mass on Saturdays. At that Mass, the Ordinary Form will continue to be celebrated, with various priests from the Archdiocese as celebrants.
