First Holy Communion at St. Mary’s Norwalk

Posted by Stuart Chessman

Today at St. Mary’s Church Norwalk, CT, ten children received Our Lord for the first time in Holy Communion during the 9:30 am Solemn High Mass. Every year first communicants are given the option of receiving First Holy Communion during the Extraordinary Form Mass or the Novus Ordo Mass. A small but growing percentage are choosing the Extraordinary Form. The celebrant was Fr. Markey. The St Mary Schola Cantorum sang the Missa Pange Lingua of Josquin des Prez.
