St. Mary Church in Greenwich, CT will offer a Traditional Mass for the Feast of the Transfiguration on Monday, August 6 at 7:30 pm.

Today a Solemn Mass was celebrated at the Pontifical Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Harlem, NY, for the Traditional Tridentine Latin Pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

This year the church celebrated its 134th Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with Masses and celebrations all week.  In the program for the feast:  “As time goes by, the faces of the pilgrims may have changed, yet still they come as faithfully as they did in 1884.  Still the same questions, still the same entreaties, and still they have the same gratitude for their answered prayers.”

The Mass began with a penitential entrance of pilgrims on their knees, a long-time traditional at the church.

After Mass there was a Eucharistic procession and Benediction.

Visiting priest Fr. Peter Van Lieshout will celebrate a sung Votive Mass of the Holy Trinity in the Traditional Rite at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in New Britain, CT, on Mon, July 30.

Today is the first day of the solemn Novena to St. Anne at the Church of the Holy Innocents. All Masses at 6PM, including Saturday and Sunday from today Tuesday, July 17 through Thursday, July 26, 2017 will be Sung Masses.

The Novena will include: the 6PM traditional Sung Masses (including Saturday and Sunday), beautiful novena prayers, and a candlelight procession inside the church. St. Anne candles will be available in the back of the church. Every day of the novena, there will be veneration of the Relic of St. Anne (and St. Joachim).

All petition slips will eventually be taken to the Shrine of St. Anne-de-Beaupre in Quebec, Canada.

The patronal feast at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church in Newark begins tonight, and will feature two traditional Solemn Masses, on Sunday July 15th at 5pm and Monday July 16th at 7pm.

Following the Mass on Sunday there will be a traditional grand procession with a statue of Our Lady and a full symphonic brass band. The streets of the parish will be hosting an Italian festival and there will be live entertainment. After Monday night’s Mass there will be a candlelight procession with Rosary.

On Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 5:00 PM, the Traditional Latin Solemn Mass, 1962 MR-EF will be offered for the Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord, Jesus Christ at the Shrine Church of the Most Precious Blood in the historic neighborhood of Little Italy, Manhattan.
