On July 1, the Most Reverend Salvatore Coreileone, Archbishop of San Francisco, celebrated a Solemn Pontifical Mass at Mission Dolores Basilica in San Francisco.

A Solemn Mass, extraordinary form, will be offered at the Basilica of St. John the Evangelist in Stamford, CT on Friday August 5th tyo celebrate the feast of the Dedication of the Basilica of St. Mary Major in Rome. A procession will follow Mass to the icon of Salus Populi Romani enshrined at the back of the church.

Today our Society sponsored a Solemn Mass for the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. An impressive congregation was in attendance; singers under the direction of Mr. Sam Schmitt provided the splendid music. It was the first “event” directly organized by the Society since February 2020.

The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will be celebrated on Saturday, July 16. The Society of St. Hugh of Cluny will mark the occasion by sponsoring a Solemn Mass to thank Our Lady for her intercession. For under her watchful care, the celebration of the Traditional Mass continues and even flourishes regardless of all adversities. Indeed, this is the first Mass sponsored by our Society since 2020!

We invite you to attend our Mass this Saturday to thank Our Lady and ask her intercession that her Divine Son may give us the strength to persevere in trying times.
