The Reverend Father Timothy Iannacone was ordained a priest by Bishop Frank Caggiano on Saturday June 24. The following day, he celebrated his first Mass at St. Mary Church, Norwalk, CT. The Mass was a Solemn Mass in the Extraordinary Form. The Deacon of the Mass was Rev. Mr. Michael DeSaye of Visitation Parish in Brick; William Riccio served at Sub-Deacon. Master of Ceremonies was John Pia. Father Richard Cipolla was the assistant priest.

The Rev. Doctor Edward Enright, OSA, of Merrimack College in North Andover delivered the homily.

After Mass there was a large reception, during which Fr. Iannacone gave his first priestly blessings.
Father presents gifts to his parents: the stole worn by him hearing his first confession (to his father) and the manutergeum, used to dry the chrism from his hands following anointing (to mom). Both are supposed to be buried with them to show they gave a son to the priesthood.
Father introduces Father Samuel Kachuba, the pastor of St. Pius X Church in Fairfield, where he will serve as curate.

Church of St. Vincent Ferrer, New York, 7 pm, a Dominican rite Missa Cantata followed by a Eucharistic procession to the Church of St. Catherine of Siena. The procession will be followed by a parish party at St. Catherine’s. The Schola Cantorum will sing the Missa Papae Marcelli of Palestrina.
St. Mary Church, Roslyn, NY (Long Island), 7 pm.
Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords, N.J, 7 pm, Solemn Mass and Eucharistic Procession (the first to be celebrated at this church since Vatican II). Reception to follow. information
